During the cold winters, I frequently walk in the desolate beaches of Versilia, in Tuscany (Italy).
The echoes of summer tourists have long since disappeared, and of all the equipment that was above the sand, sun loungers, deck chairs, umbrellas and tents, nothing remains.
This is my favorite moment, to capture the geometries of the narrow platforms, which during the summer were trampled by thousands of people, or of the tent poles.
I rarely include people walking in the distance in my photos. I love to shoot away from the sea, with it remaining like a thin strip between sand and sky.
I am guided in this kind of shots by emotions, by the feeling of loneliness, and also of immensity, which the sea can give us, and which I hope to be able to convey to the people who look at my photos.
